Rotation

I've always admired the few "star trails" photos that I've seen...so I decided to finally try one myself. :)

The night before last couldn't have been more perfect. The moon had yet to rise and there were no clouds in sight. It was a beautiful Summer night sky. I spent the next hour and a quarter sitting in a lawn chair with a blanket and cat curled in my lap, taking 50 photos at 30 second intervals. The only problem was that it took my camera the same amount of time to process each image as it did to take it...thus the dots and not solid streaks once I had combined the photos. Not bad for my first try, though, I suppose. I much enjoyed the process and plan on trying again in the near future! :)
