P.A.T.C.H. Graduation

Hello visitors and returning viewers!

As some of you know, I was asked to photograph the P.A.T.C.H. homeschool high school graduation. I was extremely honored and very excited! I'd taken photos at many an event, but had never been officially asked to take on such a task. Peter from Snap of the Shutter was last year’s graduation photographer, but this year he was unable to take the photos.… because he was graduating! :D

These photos are set up differently than my typical blog posts; my flickr account is linked to this post instead of having each photo posted individually. You can view them in a slideshow layout below or click here for the set. In each photo's description (in the set) I've included a download link. I would be happy for you to share downloaded photos through multimedia websites and blogs, but please note all my photos are Copyright Emily Yvonne Photography and should be treated as such when posted on the web. Thanks.

Enjoy! =)

Created with flickr slideshow.

To each and every one of you: Congratulations!! May God bless your journey through this new chapter of your life.

To my best friends ever,

Grace - I love you sis, and I look forward to seeing where God leads you next. Thanks for always being there for me. <3 Never forget F.R.O.G. ---> Fully Rely On God.

Peter - Your photography is inspiring, your encouragement and advice are always appreciated. Can't wait to see where God leads you next. Keep your eye behind that viewfinder!

Blessings!!
~Emily

Sneak Peek: Fall Portraiture

I had the opportunity to photograph a friend at church last Sunday, we had a BLAST. :) It's amazing what pictures you can get with a good eye, Sony camera, gorgeous Fall leaves, old doors, brick walls and green sweaters.

Madi was great fun to photograph, I hardly had to pose her! She is very creative and often sees things like I do. She even suggested other photo opportunities such as the grass fading into the distance, crossing branches covered in yellow leaves, etc. I really enjoyed it. This picture was my idea, however. ;D

Doesn't the leaf she's holding look like the head of a kitty??
